The San Antonio City Council will hit the road for its regularly scheduled B session meeting on May 15. The B session on the road will be held at Port San Antonio and will begin at 2 p.m. For the first time in the City’s history, Citizens to be Heard will also be held outside of Council Chambers. It will begin at 6 p.m. at Port San Antonio.

A B Session is a meeting in which the Council typically receives briefings on specific topics. The May 15 meeting will include the adoption of an ordinance canvassing the results of the May General Election. A staff update will also be heard on the dockless vehicles pilot program as well as a briefing from Port San Antonio.

Following the B session meeting, the City Council will host Citizens to be Heard at Port San Antonio at 6 p.m. Citizens to be heard is an opportunity for residents to address City Council about any issue. Residents may sign up to speak up on any topic important to them on Wednesday evenings. State law (Sec. 551.042) prohibits Councilmembers from responding.

Online registration is available from 8 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. the day of the meeting (May 15) at SanAntonio.gov/Clerk/CitizensToBeHeard.
