Abe Lincoln Road Shared Use Path (Horn Boulevard to Eckhert Road)

This project will construct a Shared Use Path (SUP) using available Right-of-Way along the east side of Abe Lincoln Rd. from Horn Blvd. to Eckhert Rd. The SUP will consist of a 8’-12’ wide concrete path and associated amenities. New concrete sidewalks and curbs, new delivery approaches and utility adjustments are also included.

What you need to know:

The Abe Lincoln Road Shared Use Path (Horn Boulevard to Eckhert Road) Project has reached substantial completion—delivered on schedule and within budget!

The Shared Use Path is now officially open to the public.

This project enhances local infrastructure and community connectivity by introducing a new 8-foot to 12-foot wide path along the east side of Abe Lincoln Road. The new path safely links Horn Boulevard and Eckhert Road, providing direct access to Earl Rudder Middle School.

Please note that the contractor will be working on final punch-list items and minor details over the next 30 days, with intermittent closures to the Shared Use Path.
