Metro Health is here to help employers learn about the new Paid Sick Leave Ordinance. Our goal is to provide you with the information and tools that your business needs to successfully implement the ordinance. Though complaints received between August 1, 2019 and March 31, 2020 will be investigated, no citations for violations will be issued during this eight-month grace period.

To submit your written questions or concerns in advance, please email PaidSickLeave@sanantonio.gov no later than the close of business prior to your scheduled session. Written questions will also be accepted during the Information Sessions.

Metro Health invites you to the Restaurant Grade Public Meeting. Currently the posting of restaurant letter grades A, B, or C in public view is voluntary. Restaurants in the City of San Antonio are only required to post their inspection report.

Metro Health would like your input on the mandatory posting of letter grades for all restaurants in the City of San Antonio. A letter grade of A is a score of 90 to 100, a B is 80 to 89, and a C is 70 to 79.
