What You Need to Know:
E-Z Bel Construction continues work on the Covel Road project.
Traffic Impacts / Road Closure:
- Covel Road will remain closed from Hercules Point (west of Ray Ellison Boulevard) to Patrol Road through Fall 2026.
- Residents on Hercules Point should access their neighborhood via Loop 410.
- Waste Management access is available from Old Pearsall Road only.
- Rough-road and reduced-speed signage will be placed as needed while work is underway.
- Please follow posted detours, barricades, and traffic-control devices and use caution when traveling through the work area.
What We Are Doing:
- Concrete pavement preparation and roadway improvements.
- Subgrade stabilization and right-of-way backfilling.
- CPS Energy gas-line adjustments.
- Repairing roadway failures between Patrol Road and Old Pearsall Road
