Subcomité de Soluciones para Inquilinos de la Comisión de Vivienda
El 26 de enero de 2022, la Comisión de Vivienda formó el recién nombrado Subcomité de Soluciones para Inquilinos (RSS) . El subcomité consta de nueve miembros: dos comisionados de vivienda, cuatro inquilinos y tres propietarios o administradores de propiedades. La Comisión de Vivienda votó para que los Comisionados Johnson y Dávila sirvieran como representantes de los Comisionados en el RSS. La lista completa de personas designadas recomendadas se votó para sus cargos el 25 de mayo de 2022.
El cargo de este subcomité es el siguiente: asesorar a la Comisión de Vivienda sobre asuntos relacionados con los inquilinos, incluidos, entre otros: asistencia de emergencia para el alquiler; derechos de los inquilinos y asistencia legal; educación, divulgación y capacitación; y artículos legislativos.
Los objetivos de este subcomité son los siguientes: (1) hacer recomendaciones a la Comisión de Vivienda sobre temas relacionados con los inquilinos, (2) garantizar que los inquilinos tengan una voz sobre los problemas relacionados con los inquilinos que son parte de las conversaciones de la Comisión, (3) fomentar el desarrollo de relaciones y el entendimiento entre los administradores de la propiedad y los inquilinos.
