Código de Mantenimiento de la Propiedad de San Antonio 2021
El DSD está listo para comenzar a revisar el Código de Mantenimiento de la Propiedad de San Antonio (SAPMC) de 2021 en abril. Actualizado cada tres años, el SAPMC se basa en el Código Internacional de Mantenimiento de la Propiedad del International Code Council (ICC).
Este código tiene por objeto garantizar la salud pública, la seguridad y el bienestar de los residentes y la comunidad. El SAPMC se aplica a todos los edificios y estructuras residenciales y comerciales existentes y establece estándares mínimos para:
- Locales y estructuras
- Equipos e instalaciones, que incluyen iluminación, ventilación, espacio, calefacción, saneamiento, protección contra los elementos, seguridad de vida, seguridad contra incendios y otros peligros, y para el mantenimiento seguro y sanitario
- responsabilidad de los propietarios
- Ocupación de estructuras y locales existentes
- Administración, ejecución y sanciones
De acuerdo con la Sección 6-51 del Código de la Ciudad, la Junta de Normas de Construcción (BSB) de la Ciudad estableció el Comité SAPMC . Este comité se reunirá para revisar el SAPMC actual y proponer enmiendas. Una vez que el comité complete su revisión, se realizarán presentaciones de recomendaciones al BSB en pleno para su revisión y consideración. Este artículo está programado tentativamente para ir al Concejo Municipal en octubre de 2022.
