In 2018 the City Council accepted the Housing Policy Framework. The Framework set goals for new housing and plans for meeting the goals. Today, the City and our partners are meeting the goals and looking for new ways to achieve more. The draft SHIP sets new, higher goals and describes new ways to meet the need.
The draft SHIP was developed with community and housing stakeholders. Now is your time to comment on the draft plan. You can and sign up to follow along for updates and participate individual strategies as they are developed. Public comment is invited on the draft SHIP November 1st - December 6th. Comments can be submitted online or at any of our public meetings held in-person and virtually. Our next public meeting will be held Saturday, December 4th from 10-11am at the Mission Branch Library (3134 Roosevelt Ave).
