As part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the City of San Antonio received $20 million in grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME). This is referred to as the HOME-ARP grant.
Unlike the traditional HOME program, the HOME-ARP funds are to be prioritized for populations experiencing or at-risk of homelessness. The City is seeking public input to plan for the use of these funds. In addition to this survey, community members may provide feedback at the community meetings scheduled or at a public hearing on Wednesday, December 15 at 5:00 pm at the Municipal Plaza Building, 114 W Commerce St.
Following public input, the City will develop a HOME-ARP allocation plan for submittal to HUD.
