Artist Talk and Workshop with Juan de Dios Mora

Artist Talk and Workshop with Juan de Dios Mora

Join us at Culture Commons Gallery for an Artist Talk and Workshop with printmaker Juan de Dios Mora. In this demonstration, Mora will showcase the fundamentals of monotype printing. This method offers a straightforward, intuitive, and enjoyable way to experience and explore indirect printing. The demonstration will concentrate on making monotypes by applying oil-based ink onto a CD, creating the image through the reductive drawing technique. Participants will have the opportunity to learn, create, and print their own monotype prints on paper using an etching press. No previous printmaking experience is necessary, and all materials will be supplied.
