San Antonio Parks and Recreation and City Council District 5 invite the community to the Robert Quiroga Pavilion Dedication Ceremony at Rosedale Park Mass Facility. The naming of the pavilion honors the legacy of Robert Quiroga, a beloved figure and boxer from San Antonio.

Robert "Pikin" Quiroga was the first World Super Flyweight Champion from San Antonio. From 1990 to 1993, he was IBF Jr. Bantamweight Champion of the World, defending the title successfully five times before retiring in 1995 with a record of 20-2, including 11 knockouts. His distinguished career included induction to the San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame.
