The City of San Antonio Metropolitan Health District (Metro Health) invites the community to its inaugural Day of Celebration event in honor of Black Maternal Health Week, which runs from April 11 – April 17. The event will focus on educating and empowering Black women who are of childbearing age or expecting by providing information and resources for healthy pregnancies. Metro Health invites the community to enjoy a complimentary dinner and a panel discussion on healthy pregnancies. Topics that will be discussed include the state of maternal health in Texas and policy, healthy pregnancies, and more. The event will also feature COVID-19, flu, and pneumonia vaccines as well as raffle giveaways.

Fiesta medals will be available to those who register and attend the event!
