The City of San Antonio sought your input to help us enhance and improve your park space.  $550,000 and $949,569 in combined project funding for Pittman-Sullivan Park (located at 1101 Iowa St.) in Council District 2 provided for multiple new park improvements, including storm water drainage improvements, new walking trails with LED security lighting, new park signage and addition of a new performance plaza.  Funding was allocated through the voter-approved 2017-2022 Bond Program, along with additional funding redirected from the cancelled Copernicus Park Sports Education Facility Project.  We collected more information from District 2 residents and park users across the city to gauge public confidence and support for proposed park improvements.
