Transit-Oriented Development Policy
The goal of San Antonio's Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) policy is to build great communities where residents live, work, and play and have access to speedy, efficient and safe VIA transit lines. From VIA's Keep SA Moving, last Modified: March 1, 2026:
Construction is active across segments 1 through 8 of the VIA Rapid Green Line corridor. Crews continue to advance both wet utility (underground) and dry utility (above and underground) adjustments along all segments, with coordination efforts in place to help minimize conflicts and service interruptions. Expect intermittent lane and sidewalk closures. Some of this work will occur during nighttime hours to minimize traffic disruptions and ensure safety. Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians are encouraged to use caution in and around construction zones.
