What you need to know
The City of San Antonio Capital Delivery Department, Parks and Recreation Department, and SAWS will be working along Fredericksburg Road (between Cincinnati Ave and N Flores St) as early as November 17, 2025 thru the end of January 2026. This work is associated with a Pedestrian Mobility bond project that was otherwise complete in 2024.
From November 17 through December 29, the Parks and Recreation Department will be planting trees, which will require intermittent lane closures.
See map provided. Detours will be in place only during the lane closures, otherwise two-way traffic will be maintained.
