The Department of Arts & Culture invites you to join us for an Artist Talk and Workshop on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 6pm at the Culture Commons Gallery. At this event, artists from the Resilient and Responsive exhibition - Linda Monsivais Hernandez, Manuel Davila, and Margaret Craig – will speak about their work in the show, their use of repurposed or natural materials, and teach the audience a technique used in their work. Attendees will then create a unique work of art during a creative workshop led by the artists. This event is free to attend, but registration is required.

This event is part of the programming for the Resilient and Responsive exhibition, organized in collaboration with the City’s Office of Sustainability and focused on climate, the environment, and the impact on the local community. It features 14 San Antonio-based artists whose work responds to the City’s Climate Action and Adaptation Plan. The exhibition will be on view until January 17, 2025.
