What you need to know:

  • Beginning as early as Monday, October 6, 2025, the contractor will perform upgrades and modifications to the traffic signals at N. New Braunfels & E. Houston St. intersection.
  • The traffic lights are expected to be turned off from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and will have officers directing traffic. Traffic lights will be back on after 4:00 pm.
  • Contractor J3 Construction continues work on roadway medians and irrigation.
  • To facilitate traffic, North New Braunfels remains open to full traffic.

  • The N. New Braunfels project includes roadway improvements, sidewalks, driveway approaches, trees, and irrigation, and utility improvements.
