Background
The Vision Zero Program identified Perrin Beitel Road (between Wurzbach Parkway and Loop 410) as a High Injury Network because of its high number of pedestrian crashes. Crash data from 2014-2024 showed a concentration of both pedestrian and vehicular collisions near Perrin Beitel Road at Sun Gate Street. Four of the crashes involved pedestrians, of which one was fatal.
