Safe Routes to School, an initiative led by The City of San Antonio Transportation Department, is partnering with Loma Park Elementary and Edgewood Independent School District for a Walk & Bike to School Day! This event promotes healthy habits, a cleaner environment, pedestrian safety, and community building.
Safe Routes to School, una iniciativa del Departamento de Transporte de la Ciudad de San Antonio, se asocia con la Escuela Primaria Loma Park y el Distrito Escolar Independiente de Edgewood para un Día de Caminar y Andar in Bicicleta a la Escuela. Este evento, apoyado por el Centro Nacional para Rutas Escolares Seguras, promueve hábitos saludables, un medio ambiente más limpio, la seguridad peatonal y el desarrollo comunitario.
Join us all you Mustangs for a great walk, bike, and rolling ride from Monterrey Park to Loma Park Elementary! Participants will meet in a staging area in Monterrey Park at the entrance at N. 38th Street and Fortuna, beginning at 6:45 AM. We'll begin heading to the school around 7:15 AM and arrive before the first bell. Refreshments provided. We'll explore pedestrian safety and give free T-shirts to the first 15 students who arrive!
¡Acompáñennos, Mustangs, a una fantástica caminata, paseo en bicicleta y paseo en patines desde el Parque Monterrey hasta la Escuela Primaria Loma Park! Los participantes se reunirán en el Parque Monterrey a cerca de N. 38th Street y Fortuna a partir de las 7:00 a. m.
