経済労働力開発委員会は、雇用の創出と維持、新規事業と民間投資の誘致、中小企業の支援、インセンティブ政策、対象産業の成長など、地域経済の活力に関連する政策、計画、プログラムを監督するものとします。委員会はまた、教育、労働力開発、トレーニングへの市の投資のすべての側面を検討し、サイバーセキュリティの強化、デジタルインクルージョンの促進、地方自治体のブロードバンドの拡大など、サンアントニオの「スマートシティ」の目標を推進するための推奨事項とポリシーガイダンスを提供します。そして経済的機会を追求します。
